Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Toddler Teacher working with children ages 1 year to two and half, where your passion for nurturing young minds will help shape the foundational years of our youngest learners. Schedule: M-F 8:30am to 5:30pm or 9am to 6pm.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in toddlers
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior
- Engage children in activities that promote literacy education, early intervention strategies, and foundational math skills using innovative teaching methods such as Montessori techniques
- Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play with a focus on toddler care and safety
- Monitor individual progress through observations and assessments aligned with childhood development milestones and standardized testing when applicable
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate children's progress, behavior management strategies, and developmental needs
- Uphold child welfare standards by maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to all safety regulations and childcare best practices
