What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
· Provide Personal Care: Assist with daily hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
· Advocacy: Stand up for the rights of individuals and help them make choices.
· Promote Independence: Support residents with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
· Facilitate Community Life: Accompany individuals to appointments, grocery shopping, and recreational activities.
· Administer Medication: Assist with self-administration of medications according to care plans (training provided).
· Documentation: Maintain accurate daily notes of activities, Goal tracking sheet, behavior plan (BSP).
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in home-like settings, bending, lifting 25-50 lbs, and standing for extended periods.
What We’re Looking For :(Qualifications)
· Experience: Preferred/No experience needed - We provide paid training.
· Requirements: Must be 18 years of age, high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license, CPR, PMT (will train).
· Key Traits: Patient, compassionate, reliable, and a "people person" who cares about community inclusion.
· Physical Ability: Ability to lift, transfer, push/pull, and stand for periods of time.
