At Cattle Care, we use Artificial Intelligence to increase the revenue of dairy farms and decrease GHG emissions, antibiotics, and hormone usage. Our technology not only optimizes farm efficiency but also ensures high standards of animal welfare. We secured $3.7M in funding from serial angel investors, VCs and domain experts.
Right now we’re working with 155 farms, monitoring 650,000 cows.
Job description:
You will play a key role in guiding future customers from first contact to deal closure: helping them understand the value of our product and building strong, long-term relationships.
Sales at Cattle Care:
- Deal Size: $40k average contract value
- Close rate: 50%
- Sales cycle: 32 days to close
- Profile Buyer: Dairy owner / Dairy manager
Responsibilities:
- Generate outbound leads — travel locally, regionally, and nationally as needed (50% travel expected)
- Qualify inbound leads and help account executives to close them
- Conduct product demos to prospective customers interested in Cattle Care
- Constantly optimize the sales pipeline, by leveraging data at each step of the process
- Attend targeted events to find new leads
Skills / experience we're looking for:
- 2 years of experience in sales
- 2 years of experience in dairy farming industry
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Experience working remotely and the ability to work autonomously
