Basic Function:

The Branch Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned branch while providing support to the Personal Banker (where applicable), Lead Specialist (where applicable), and Branch Specialist position for teller transactions and vault management, as needed. The Branch Manager is responsible for new account opening, electronic and/or remote banking service needs, as well as supporting expectations for business growth, branch profitability and lending services. Works in collaboration with Market Leaders to support business development needs and initiatives.

Principal Responsibilities:

· Support branch, inspire ownership and accountability among your teams and be an active player-coach. Assist branch with staffing needs, which may include Branch Specialist duties and vault management, as needed.

· Coordinates and assists in skills assessment, training and development in deposit, retail lending, and electronic banking services for staff.

· Responsible for personnel management of the branch including team members performance reviews in conjunction with the Market Leader and Retail Banking Officer.

· Responsible for gaining information and knowledge on bank products and services, policies and procedures, and communicating this information to the Specialists.

· Assists Market Leaders with business development within branch market areas.

· Responsible for being primary branch contact for prospective and current customers, in both retail and commercial areas.

· Ensures that applicable lending and deposit policies and practices are followed to keep bank in regulatory compliance.

· Assists branch in loan origination, deposit growth, branch profitability model, business development and customer retention goals.

· Oversees building maintenance and security of branch.

· Opens and introduces customers to procedures of all new accounts including DDA, SAV, COD, MM, IRA, HSA, etc.

· Responsible for the input, accuracy and assisting with completeness of loan applications. Work closely with the Loan Department and Underwriter to ensure applications are complete and timely.

· Acts as a liaison between customer and loan operations and communicates decisioning, or requests for additional information, as needed.

· Assists customers with completion of non-real estate loan applications and direction to the correct CCB loan product.

· Refers real-estate secured loans to Mortgage Loan Originator.

· Assists all retail loan applicants or inquiries regarding residential mortgage loans, home equity loans and lines of credit; home improvement loans and installment loans to individuals.

· Investigate and follow-up on customer complaints and notify customer and/or designated personnel of findings, adjustments, and recommendations of customer complaint.

· Responsible for identifying formal customer complaints not suitable to be dealt with at the branch level and escalated to the Retail department.

· Takes ownership of complex account servicing and error resolution issues, including those escalated by staff. Provide appropriate coaching and guidance to improve and reduce future problems.

· Actively models and coaches customer service expectations among staff. Reinforces and maintains accountability for execution of exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.

· Bring a positive energy and confidence to CCB every day.

· Responsible for increasing market share through customer retention, and prospecting for new customers.

· Assists customers with electronic and/or remote banking services.

· Responsible for answering of the telephone and assisting customers, or directing customers to the appropriate personnel.

· Responsible for the reconciliation of Deposit and General Ledger accounts assigned, ensuring monthly branch reconciliations are consistent, accurate, and complete.

· Each Branch Manager will be assigned to a branch, however upon request a Manager may be asked to provide coverage at any of CCB’s branch locations to perform related duties.

· Coordinate surprise monthly teller drawer audits, as well as audits occurring prior to vacations or other changes to teller drawer ownership.

· Responsible for ensuring the balancing of the branch vault cash by designated branch team member and appropriate cash levels are maintained.

· Review and approve overdrawn accounts on a regular basis within approval limits on the Loan Authority/Overdraft Authority Matrix. Additionally, the monitoring of overdrawn deposit accounts for the purpose of collection will be done in compliance to the Overdraft Policy.

· Monitor and track dormant accounts in accordance with the Internal Controls.

· Responsible for processing wire transfers, as requested, in accordance with the Internal Controls.

· Monitor and track Reg D and Reg DD in accordance with the Internal Controls.

· Responsible for monthly review of CCB Internal Controls as assigned.

· Completes all duties to ensure compliance with BSA and OFAC requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

Education:

High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Required to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages, and other items (less than 20 lbs.), and to walk short distances. Requires repetitive motion and substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
