Job Description
We are seeking qualified candidates to fill tenure track positions for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Childhood (Birth-2) and/or Childhood Education (1-6).
Responsibilities
- Teach elementary education courses to students in grades Pre-K through 6th grade
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- NYS Early Childhood (Birth-2) and/or Childhood Education (1-6) certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position with a salary as per WEA contract, dependent upon experience.
