Job Summary
We are looking for a sanitation/production worker to staff our 6:30am - 3:00pm shift. The ideal candidate believes in showing up on time for work, being accountable and following all sanitary and health-related protocols. Responsibilities would include all areas of washing and clean up, maintenance around our plant, as well as assisting in some areas of our food production. We are a busy and growing food manufacturing plant and we are willing to consider advancement opportunities for the right candidate. We are offering a consistent schedule and excellent pay for a dedicated employee.
Responsibilities
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks to maintain sanitation standards across production areas, equipment, and facilities.
- Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning and sanitation processes, following all chemical handling safety procedures.
- Assist in food production by supporting the manufacturing process and ensuring cleanliness of workspaces.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly at all times to ensure safety.
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety protocols to uphold quality standards.
- Lift heavy objects safely .
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment through routine custodial and janitorial duties.
Experience
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or food processing is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Experience working in manufacturing, food production, or warehouse environments is beneficial.
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work effectively within GMP guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health standards.
