Overview
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. You must be able to perform tasks using various mobile applications.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Carpentry, basic plumbing and electrical, drywall, painting, troubleshooting homes

WORK IN HIGH END HOMES:
Hospitality, Guest Experience and Homeowner Satisfaction is core to this role. Maintenance Craftsman shall perform tasks as needed to provide excellent service to Guests and Homeowners.

TASKS:
Provide maintenance duties including but not limited to;

• Performing preventative maintenance
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them
• Knowledgeable in creating estimates; including, identifying project steps, estimate labor hours and listing needed materials
• Handling small construction projects; stairs, decks, exterior trim
• Loading and unloading equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed
• Performing minor fixes such as repairing broken locks and filling gaps on walls
• Checking control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm, fire extinguishers, security alarms)
• Installing appliances and equipment
• Painting, installing shelves, cabinets, and countertops
• Pressure washing driveways and sidewalks
• Collect and remove trash and debris.
• Window cleaning, repairs, and installation
• Screen door installation and repair
• Performing cleaning activities such as dusting and mopping
• Clean upholstered furniture.
• Clean grills and outdoor furniture, arrange furniture and clean up yard of any debris left by guests, homeowners or Mother Nature.

WORKING FOR US

• Undergo training and sign the company’s contract.
• Understand the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions, and privacy issues, necessity of having a reliable working vehicle and phone.
• Use applications such as Breezeway, Workforce, BambooHR to perform duties.
• Report and return any guest properties found in the home while rendering service.
• Report, turn in and log all lost and found items.
• Report cases of property damage immediately to Manager.
• Work with a team of Maintenance Craftsman and/or Housekeepers, when needed.
• Maintain a positive relationship with employees, guests and homeowners.
• Attention to details and organized.
• Ability to track multiple activities at one time
• Agility to stop current task to work on an emergency task, working with a changing schedule
• Responding to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion
• Following written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager
• Complete home inspections via Breezeway or other app.
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary
• Other tasks as needed by the business.
• The Maintenance Craftsman role is a “full time” role. The amount and type of work to be completed is seasonal, requiring flexibility in the number of hours and days to be worked.
• Some on-call and weekend requirements for emergencies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
