The Competitive Gymnastics Coach will work primarily with children and teens aged 5 to 18 years, guiding young athletes through skill development and conditioning to excel in competitive gymnastics. Responsibilities
- Design and implement training programs tailored to skill levels
- Develop athletes’ gymnastics skills and conditioning
- Supervise safety during all gymnastic activities
- Prepare athletes for competition participation
- Provide motivation and support to gymnasts
- Spot tumbling and other gymnastic maneuvers
- Lead strength and conditioning sessions
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of gymnastics coaching experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Coaching certification (e.g., USA Gymnastics Level 1 or higher)
- Knowledge of gymnastics techniques and athlete training
- Expertise in injury prevention and safety procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in spotting gymnastic movements
