Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly.
- Conduct employee orientation and training sessions to ensure team members are equipped with necessary skills.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices.
- Manage inventory control processes including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products.
- Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviewing and hiring processes.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and assist in developing strategies to increase sales.
- Implement effective marketing strategies to promote store offerings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Lead by example in demonstrating effective communication skills and fostering teamwork.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively.
- Proficient in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interaction.
- Experience in payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, and retail math.
- Proven management experience with a focus on supervising teams effectively.
