Job Description

PASTORAL ASSOCIATE
Full time - 35 Hours/Week including weekends and as needed
Salary: $62,400 annually

Position purpose: In collaboration with the pastor, the pastoral associate, and other staff, the pastoral associate is responsible for developing the Holy Spirit. The parish vision of igniting faith, nurturing hope, and engaging all. Inspiring parishioners to grow as disciples of Christ. The responsibilities of the pastoral associate include providing liturgical leadership for a Joint Worship Team, working with the pastor and parishioners on evolving a Joint Parish Council, parish communications, and assisting in pastoral care and funeral planning.

Candidates seeking a position as Pastoral Associate is responsible for 2 parishes and should preferably have a master's degree or certificate in theology or pastoral studies and have a minimum of 2 - 3 years of pastoral experience. Some proficiency with digital communications tools (website content management, Constant Contact, Canva, Social Media.)
