Job Title: Substitute Teacher

Position Summary

Sacred Heart Grade School is seeking qualified and reliable Substitute Teachers to provide classroom coverage when teachers are absent. Substitute Teachers play an important role in maintaining continuity of instruction, supporting students, and ensuring a positive learning environment rooted in the Catholic faith tradition.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and classroom management in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Follow lesson plans and maintain daily routines as outlined by the classroom teacher.
• Supervise students and ensure a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Uphold the mission and values of Sacred Heart Grade School and Catholic education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to different grade levels and subject areas.
• Commitment to the values of Catholic education.

Work Schedule & Compensation

This is an as needed, per diem position.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Salary : $115 - $160
