Claims Representative Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Claims Department as a Claims Representative Trainee.

Position Overvie

wThe Claims Representative Trainee position is an entry-level role designed to learn the claims adjusting process through structured training and hands-on experience. Under the guidance of experienced claims professionals, the trainee develops foundational knowledge of coverage, investigation, customer communication, documentation, and claims systems while contributing to the overall efficiency of the Claims Department

Key Responsibiliti

• esLearn and understand the full claims process, including claims terminology, coverage interpretation, investigations, reserving, negotiation practices, fraud recognition, subrogation potential, and legal consideration
• s.Receive and review claim assignments from insureds under supervisio
• n.Learn how to adjust claims directly or assist with assignments to independent adjuster
• s.Receive training on proper customer service and professional communication standard
• s.Review claim files to ensure adequate documentation to support claim decisions and payment
• s.Learn how to review insureds’ claims history and identify potential risk or coverage concern
• s.Assist in maintaining accurate and organized claim documentatio
• n.Respond to emergency after-hours calls as assigne
