Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, administering, and directing speech therapy services cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patients
Educate patient and family members in recommendations for diet modifications
- Work with interdisciplinary team for plan of care
- Knowledge of hospital, Joint Commission, state and federal guidelines
Requirements:
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology required.
- NYS SLP license and registration required
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to staff members, management peers, and hospital administration.
- Prior experience with EPIC preferred
- Prior experience with Modified Barium Swallow study required
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Experience with trach/vent population required.
Salary Range
USD $44.41 - USD $55.55 /Hr.
