Job Details
The EVS lead supervises and inspect work of EVS staff to ensure assigned areas are appropriately cleaned.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a clean environment for all patients, including dusting, mopping, emptying garbage; clean all surfaces and furniture, bathrooms, etc.
- Replenish supplies in patient rooms as needed
- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Performs discharge and transfer cleanings in all patient areas, all invasive procedure areas and terminal cleanings as needed.
- Performs standard precautions, transmission based precautions.
- Performs high dusting televisions, vents in patient rooms & misc. rooms as needed
- Utilizes appropriate infection prevention techniques when cleaning
- Oversees waste collection and proper handling of RMW.
- Oversees operation of Linen Room and Linen distribution and collection.
- Supervises and checks the work of all staff.
- Provides leadership and direction in accordance with department goals and policies.
- Cover all job assignments as needed and has a full knowledge of the same and performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma, GED or relevant experience
- Must have 3 years’ experience in environmental services
Salary Range
USD $25.00 - USD $30.00 /Yr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
