Job Details
Part time - 10am - 6pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform various biochemical, microscopic, blood bank and/or bacteriological tests to obtain data for use in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of disease
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school required.
- Licensed under the NYS Dept. of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technician required.
- Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and/or microbiology required.
- Hospital experience desired. Must work weekends and holidays as scheduled. One year internship at an accredited hospital or one year practical experience preferred
- Good oral and written communication skills essential
Salary Range
USD $37.25 - USD $52.14 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
