Fertility Care Specialist-PD

Overview:

Catholic Health's Fertility Care Specialist will provide an outstanding patient experience in women’s health as part of the Gianna Center Team, while respecting the teachings of the Catholic Church. Using Fertility Care Practitioner skills assist with providing general gynecological care, prenatal care, natural family planning education, and infertility services with a deep commitment to honoring a woman’s dignity and the sanctity of human life.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelors degree

Licensure / Certification: Certification as a Fertility Care Practitioner or in a current program training for this Certification.

Responsibilities / Skills:

• Minimum of two years’ a physician practice or ambulatory environment or previous related experience.
• Creighton Model Fertility Care Practitioner
• Minimum of 6 months teaching couples to chart their fertility cycles using the Creighton Model System
• Ability to implement principles of adult learning
• Understanding of the Ethical and Religious Directives of the Catholic teachings.
• Ability to work with patients and their partners during family planning sessions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills to enhance age-specific patient care, team collaboration and analytical problem solving.
• Detail oriented with ability to multitask and follow-through.
• Ability to work with an Electronic Health Record, Practice Management and Scheduling systems.
