Endo Technician

Our Endoscopy Technician will:

·       Assist the physician and nursing staff in performance of endoscopic procedures

·       Perform general patient care activities to provide patients with optimal health care

·       Be able to recognize, obtain, document, and report data to appropriate staff

·       Perform patient transport duties

·       Coordinate scheduling and registration of all endoscopic procedures with medical staff, hospital departments, nursing and physician office staff

·       Demonstrate technical competence in the cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of endoscopy equipment

·       Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to meet the needs of patients and optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction

·       Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.

What you’ll bring:

·       Passion for Patient Care  

·       1 Years of Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care hospital setting required

·       1-2 years of experience working in Endoscopy strongly preferred

·       Education: High School Diploma or GED required

·       Certification:  Certification in Endoscopic procedures required (must be completed within 1 year of employment); NYS Certified Nursing Assistant preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Salary : $26 - $41
