Join a Magnet®-recognized Nursing team at Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip as we expand into a new era of patient care with the upcoming opening of our state-of-the-art Patient Care Pavilion—a 300,000 sq. ft. facility featuring private rooms, advanced surgical suites, and a transformative Emergency Department.
We are actively hiring EDTAs who are ready to grow with us—and be part of something big. The EDTA provides bedside patient care in the Emergency Room and is an integral part of the care team.

Responsibilities include:
- Performing phlebotomy
- Administering EKG
- Patient Care
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certifications in phlebotomy and EKG highly preferred or equivalent experience of at least one year working in an acute care setting
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting
- Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant certification and experience required
- BLS - Must be from American Heart Association
Salary Range
USD $26.82 - USD $31.84 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
