Overview
St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, affiliated with Catholic Health, is located in Smithtown, NY on a beautiful 110-acre campus that includes a 290-bed community hospital, a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility, and a 60,000 sq. ft. medical office building. SCS is engaged with error reduction initiatives and on a journey to High Reliability.
We have been recognized in superior care in stroke and sepsis patients, have also recently attained Center of Excellence in Bariatric Surgery, and have been designated as the only Baby Friendly hospital in Suffolk County.
Job Details
Responsibilities
- Plating and serving food to patients
- Sanitation responsibilities in kitchen and pantries
- May be required to crouch and kneel to dispose of refuse and mop floors
- High school graduate, GED or relevant experience
- Food service experience preferred
- Able to stand for long periods. Able to lift, bend, and turn. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push heavy food carts
- Must be able to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently
Starting from USD $22.40/Hr.
