Job Details
ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides and manages continuous, medical care service to patients under direct consultation with the Hospitalist MD, and in collaboration with the private medical attending as indicated
- Offers services to designated patients in the Emergency Department, inpatient and short stay service
- Provides full or partial services to private attending physicians who elect to utilize the Hospitalist Services
- Assumes full service to unassigned patients, as directed by the Hospitalist MD. Responds to the requests of the nursing staff as required to ensure patient care and safety
- NP must maintain current collaborative practice agreement with a designated member of the medical staff. PA's performance of all job duties must be supervised by a designated supervising physician
ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER QUALIFICATIONS:
- NYS Certified RN – NP (Nurse Practitioner) or NYS Certified PA (Physician Assistant). Trained in adult medicine.
- ACLS & BLS certified
- Experience in patient case management required; hospital experience preferred
Salary Range
Starting from USD $94.60/Hr.
