Holy Cross School, Trinity Park
Formally opened in 1987, Holy Cross School is an integral component of the Northern Beaches Parish of Cairns. The Holy Cross School Charism - RELATIONSHIPS, COMMUNITY, SERVICE and STEWARDSHIP - referred to as ‘ The Holy Cross Way ', is embedded in all facets of school life, and lived, modelled, and articulated by every member of the school community.

Purpose of the Role
The role of the Finance Officer is to provide comprehensive support for the school’s financial and administrative services, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and contributing to the smooth operation of school activities. This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining financial records, supporting enrolment processes, and responding to enquiries via telephone and email. Additionally, the Finance Officer plays a key role in overseeing internal financial controls, preparing financial reports, and assisting in the development of school budgets.

Work Requirements
- Unless an exemption applies, all staff are required to hold a current Working with Children Blue Card or be eligible to apply
- Current drivers license
- A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Catholic Education
- A Diploma/Degree qualification with appropriate experience or other relevant qualifications and experience is highly regarded
