Overview
St. Leo Catholic Church is seeking a Parish Audio operations & Administrative Support Assistant dedicated Audio support set up and a high level of administrative Assistance. This position serves as assistant for masses, parish initiatives, and office assistance carried out with consistency, excellence, and care.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and maintain liturgical materials, including accurate updating and management of the parish Mass book and seasonal resources
- Assist and work with Music Director in the coordination of liturgical music schedules and planning, ensuring clarity, completeness, and timely communication
- Provide dependable support for microphones and sound during Masses and for audio and video during parish events, including setup, basic operation, and resolution of routine issues
- Coordinate and support parish initiatives, seasonal programs, and major events, ensuring effective planning, organization, and follow through
- Provide comprehensive administrative support including document management, record keeping, data entry, and office coordination.
- Assist the Business Manager with routine administrative processes, maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and accountability
- Serve as a central point within the parish office, ensuring clear communication, timely responses, and a welcoming and professional
- Scheduling individuals and families seeking financial assistance, with the Pastor and responding with compassion, discretion, and professionalism
- Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records of assistance requests, documentation, and outcomes
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in audiovisual technology, computer networking, or a related filed is preferred.
- Experience with sound systems, AV equipment, and general IT systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail.
