Classification: Hourly/Nonexempt
Overview
St. Thomas More Parish is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Associate to assist with general maintenance for parish buildings and property.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintenance of buildings and grounds.
- Set up and break down events and meetings.
- Performs general maintenance regarding walls, doors, carpets, tile and minor repairs of electrical, air conditioning, plumbing.
- Replace light bulbs, filters, ceiling tiles, light ballasts.
- Lockdown facilities at the end of the day.
- Observe and promote safe work practices and procedures by following local, state, and OSHA regulations.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have basic maintenance skills.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
- Self-motivated individual able to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, twist, push, pull continuously throughout day.
- Must work on weekends.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must pass Level II FDLE background check.
- Must pass a DOV assigned post offer physical exam.
