Overview
Incarnation Catholic Church is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Associate to assist with general maintenance for parish events and weekend Masses.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for light cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds as needed.
- Set up for assigned events and meetings.
- Adhere to proper cleaning methods, storage, and proper care of equipment and supplies.
- General maintenance for weekend Masses including changing light bulbs, cleaning, re-stocking bathrooms if need arises, and minor repairs.
- Lockdown and opening of facilities and/or gates for parish events.
- Observe and promote safe work practices and procedures by following local, state, and OSHA regulations.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have basic maintenance skills..
- Must work weekends.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and climates, indoors and outdoors.
- Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, stretch, reach continuously throughout shift.
- Physically capable of climbing ladders in a safe manner.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License.
- Must pass background check, including fingerprinting with satisfactory results.
- Must pass DOV assigned physical exam.
