Overview
This position leads student recruitment, enrollment, and retention efforts promoting the school's Catholic mission, fostering meaningful relationships with prospective and current families, and ensuring a welcoming admissions experience aligned with our faith-based values. The position reports directly to the Principal.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee all admissions related operations, including managing website inquiries and communications, to ensure efficient workflows and overall operational success.
- Coordinate all preparations for school Open Houses, visits and tours, including creating and distributing materials; managing clear communication and confirmations with families.
- Support positive rapport with Catholic school partners, and coordinate outreach to parishes and various non-profit and civic organizations; some evening and weekend commitments required.
- Remain current on school policies, programming, achievements, and opportunities to facilitate productive conversation with prospective students and families; work closely with Development to ensure effective outreach, marketing and communications.
- Maintain an understanding of the Diocese of Venice recruiting/admissions policies.
- Maintain the department’s prospective student database by managing data entry of student information collected.
- Facilitate campus tours for prospective students and families.
- Assist in the annual review and evaluation of incoming students and transfer applications.
- Assist in the designing and updating of recruitment/admissions materials, both print and web based.
- Assist in the administration of scholarship related processes as needed.
- Assist in the facilitation of the financial aid process as directed.
- Other duties assigned by the Principal.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelors degree required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and organizational skills; ability to multitask.
- Ability to communicate cooperatively and effectively with staff, students, and parents.
- Proficient with technology including Word, Excel, and Office.
- Thorough knowledge of the culture of the school.
