St. Mary Catholic School, Pickney is seeking a part-time, 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Latchkey (After Care) assistant for the school year.
General Summary:

We are seeking energetic, creative adults to fill our afterhours latchkey program for the school year. Candidates must be Catholics who are excited to share their faith with children in both knowledge and through example. Ideal applications can communicate in a positive way with students, parents, and staff. The applicants must also be able to collaborate with an existing dynamic staff to carry out the mission of bringing Jesus to the center of the life of every student through faith, scholarship, and serve.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recognize and support the unique Catholic mission of the school by speaking, acting, and caring for students consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with students. Must be able to organize the classroom learning environment and materials to maximize student time on tasks as well as motivate student learning.
- Maintain confidentiality of information, display sound judgement in dress and general behavior.
- Must be able to work with students of multiple age levels outside on the playground and in the classroom setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education:
High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
Experience:
At least 3 years of supervisory experience in related field.
Require:
Must be a practicing Catholic active in his/her parish. Must have a valid driver's license. Must pass background check and attend Virtus Child and Youth Protection Training.
