St. John School is accepting resumes and cover letters for a full-time first grade teaching position. This teaching position is responsible for all grade level core subjects, as well as religion instruction.
The successful candidate must be faith-filled, has strong classroom management skills, is dynamic, compassionate, energetic, and willing to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Candidate qualifications and requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from an accredited university, a valid Michigan teaching certification, must pass a criminal background check and complete Protecting God’s Children program, must have a strong working knowledge of the Faith, demonstrated ability with computers and other educational technology, committed to life-long learning, and the ability to communicate effectively with parents.
