Position Overview
The 5th Grade Teacher will be responsible for creating a structured and engaging classroom that promotes academic growth while nurturing students’ faith. The ideal candidate will be committed to the mission of Catholic education and dedicated to partnering with families in forming disciples of Christ.
Responsibilities
- Foster a classroom culture rooted in Catholic values and virtue.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Integrate faith and learning across subject areas.
- Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the mission and vision of the school.
- Support and participate in school liturgies, prayer opportunities, and faith formation activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain certification).
- Commitment to the mission of Catholic education.
- Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills.
- Practicing Catholic preferred.
