Collaborating with an extensive number of funders, volunteers, and supporters, Catholic Community Services of Lane County (CCSLC) is a 73 year old 501(c)(3) social services agency with a $5 M annual operating budget dispensing the largest volume of no-cost basic assistance- food, rent & utility assistance, clothing- to individuals and families living in poverty throughout Lane County. We foster a “whatever it takes” approach with the case management and housing navigation services we provide to our unhoused neighbors. Our Refugee & Immigrant Services Program (RISP) is the only Lane County team offering a coordinated effort of legal assistance, wrap around supportive services and employment connections to refugees and immigrants arriving in our community. POSITION TITLE: Controller
SUMMARY:
Our Controller is our key fiscal leader with oversight and direction for all accounting, financial management, and government contracts. This role is highly collaborative, requiring successful relationships with other key management staff and direct reports. The successful candidate will be a hands-on accountant with direct responsibilities including: monthly and year-end, financial reporting, cash flow/cash management, accounts payable/accounts receivable, payroll, filing tax reports, staff oversight and strategic planning projects with excellent time management, problem solving, and decision-making skills. This is not a remote, work-from-home position.
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
LOCATION/STATUS/HOURS: Springfield, OR, Exempt, Full-Time, Monday-Friday

MUST HAVES:
- Bachelor’s degree Accounting and/or 5 years accounting/finance management experience, nonprofit preferred
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs-Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct (preferred), or other web-based Accounting/Finance platform (required)
- Expertise in accounting and bookkeeping terminology and practices; strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
