Cook - Aangoon Shu' Senior Center
We are seeking a dependable Cook to prepare and present nutritious, appealing meals for Angoon's senior citizens. Duties include: relating to staff, participants and volunteers in a positive manner; supervising and training kitchen staff; ordering food and supplies; preparing meals according to senior nutrition program guidelines; and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen according to Alaska food service regulations.
Qualifications
Background check required. Prior industrial kitchen experience preferred but we will train. Must obtain State Food Worker's Card within 10 days of hire. Must become CPR/First Aid certified within 30 days of hire.
This position is part-time, 15 hours per week (5 hours/day Monday through Wednesday), starting wage $20/hour DOE.
