Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Liturgical Coordinator to manage and oversee various administrative and operational aspects of our parish. The position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our community while utilizing a broad skill set. This is an on-site position requiring some scheduled office hours, evenings and weekends.
Duties
- Recruit and train greeters, ushers, lectors, EM, altar servers and sacristans.
- Collaborate with the pastor for special blessings and mass scripts.
- Collaborate with the pastor on special liturgical events.
- Coordinate cleaning of vestments and altar.
- Coordinate weddings and funerals.
- Manages parish liturgical and mission driven ministries.
- Coordinates audio visual, live streaming and tech equipment.
- Participates at parish liturgies and events particularly on Sunday.
- Uphold and align the vision of the pastor and parish leadership.
Experience
- Practicing and devoted Catholic who is able to participate in the sacramental life of the parish.
- Bachelor's degree in Liturgy or Theology or related field preferred but not required.
- Experience in church documents.
- Previous parish experience preferred.
- Ability to recruit, train and supervise volunteers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 β 19 per week
