What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Pregnancy Case Manager position at Catholic Charities Washtenaw County?
Seeking a compassionate professional to provide services to families in need throughout Washtenaw County. This part-time position (18.75 hours per week) works with pregnant women and expectant parents within the community, coordinates and assesses requests for pregnancy-related services, and assists clients with implementation of parenting, relative care giving, or adoption plans. Position also offers the possibility of working with incarcerated women at the Women’s Huron Valley Prison.
As a representative of Catholic Charities Washtenaw County serving pregnant women, candidate’s beliefs and actions must align with Catholic teachings related to the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.
Successful candidate will have the ability to promote pro-life solutions to build forever families in support of agency Catholic identity. Must have exceptional interpersonal communication skills and confidence working with pregnant women in a variety of settings.
Knowledge of Michigan adoption laws and the adoption process desired. Qualifications include a minimum bachelor's degree in human services field or equivalent, with related professional experience. Must have reliable form of transportation and be willing to maintain 24/7 on-call availability as required.
