Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Group Homes
Location: Several Group Homes in St. Cloud Area
Pay: $16.10 – $18.52 per hour
Schedule: Flexible shifts | Weekend differential available

What You Will Do
- Increase clients’ quality of life through recreational activities, community outings, leisure activities, reading to clients, playing games, etc.
- Assist with personal cares (showering, toileting, hygiene, getting ready for the day, meal prep, etc.)
- Maintain a safe and clean home environment (assisting with laundry, cleanliness of living areas, ensure safe walkways/sidewalks, etc.)
- Provide client behavior assistance, support and behavior modification according to the client Treatment Plans.
- Develop and maintain a therapeutic relationship with clients.
- Provide medication administration to clients as directed by nursing staff and the treatment plan, as well as observe and keep accurate documentation.
- Communication and documentation. Conduct daily review of client communication logs and complete charting. - Be on time and ready to work. Maintain a steady pace at work and ensure tasks are completed by the end of your shift. - Complete required training by established deadline.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Prefer candidates with at least six months of job-related experience in a group home setting
- Skills & Traits: “can-do” attitude, team player, compassionate, respectful, patient, reliable, adaptable, and strong communication skills
- Minimum Requirements: Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle, and ability to pass background checks
What Shift is Right for You?
We have a variety of shifts available to best meet your needs, including days, evenings, overnight shifts and weekends.
How Many Hours Would You Like to Work Per Week?
An employee’s hours per week may vary based on their availability. Generally, PT employees work between 20 and 30 hours per week. If employees prefer to work only weekends due to other employment, we can generally accommodate that, too. If you prefer full-time work, there may be opportunities to increase your hours in the future.
