Job Title: Deputy Executive Director
General Description
The Deputy Executive Director Serves as the organization’s second in command and works in close collaboration with the Executive Director to ensure continuity of mission, operations, and organizational relationships.

- Serves as primary operational leader for daily organizational functions
- Provides direct supervision and management of all staff
- Maintains strategic presence in the community through regular on-site engagement
- Attends all Boad of Directors meetings and service as primary staff liaison
- Ensures organizational compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements
- Represents the organization to community partners, stakeholders, and media as appropriate

Qualifications

- Ability to travel and conduct evening meetings.
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
- Understanding of human service delivery systems.
- Hybrid position, with a minimum of 2 days in Rochester per week at: 1150 Buffalo Rd, Rochester, NY 14624
- Ability to prioritize assignments, plan, and complete work projects with minimal direction
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to effectively and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal/written skills
- Ability to work in the following software programs: Windows, Microsoft Office, and multiple online software platforms as required by funders, lenders, and partner organizations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to demonstrate behaviors and attitudes which support organizational mission, philosophy, and policies
- Ability to work in a cooperative and helpful manner with all individuals
- Willingness and ability to foster agency and program wide cooperation and teamwork through use of positive/constructive communication techniques
