As the CPIP Prevention Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
- Obtain and retain knowledge of alcohol and substance abuse, family systems and child development related to implementation of prevention programming across the lifespan.
- Have the ability to receive on-going staff development and retain awareness of trends and data related to the culture of alcohol and substance abuse.
- Provide substance abuse education and intervention services in virtual and in-person capacity, utilizing evidence-based practices and programs.
- Research and implement evidence/research/science-based substance abuse prevention programs.
- Facilitate evidence-based and other prevention programming as determined by the Network, OASAS and Catholic Charities of Herkimer County.
- Provide information and referral services, community awareness activities and speaking engagements.
CPIP Prevention Specialist Minimum Salary: $19.00
CPIP Prevention Specialist Maximum Salary: $21.00
CPIP Prevention Specialist Schedule:
- Full Impact Work Week: 5 Days, Monday - Friday 8AM to 3:30PM
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Human Services or related field
- 1-3 years of experience working with a diverse population
