Driver/Data Entry CLerk - Immigrant Services

CCLI is looking for a full time Driver/Data Entry Clerk with a generous heart and a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island. By joining our team, you will share in the joy of providing “care with dignity and life with hope.”

Responsibilities:

• Transport newly arrived clients to activities and community resources such as supermarkets, libraries, art & cultural events, Department of Motor Vehicles enabling them to become oriented to their new communities.
• Drive clients to the local County Department of Social Services as needed to apply for human service benefits such as health insurance, food, housing, etc.
• Transport clients to the Refugee & Immigrant Services Office for group classes covering topics such as Mental Health, English as a Second Language and job trainings.
• Adhere and follow state traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of the vehicle, clients, and others.
• Enter, update, and maintain data of all driver activity into spreadsheets, and in-house database (Power Tools).
• Assist in generating reports and documents from the data as needed.
• Support the program team by recording case management data and monitoring

the office supply inventory.

• Complete additional clerical responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to establish positive relationships with clients and program staff
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year of driving experience on Long Island. Familiar with traveling to the different communities located across the Island.
• Clean Valid NYS Driver’s license

Schedule: Full time, 35 hours a week

Rate of Pay: $35,000 annual

This program is grant funded until 9/30/26.

This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
