Catholic Charities Maine Behavioral Health Network in Portland is looking to hire a Full Time Peer & Family Support Coordinator. If you're ready to be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team dedicated to integrated, whole-person care—this is the opportunity for you!
Position Overview:
- Works collaboratively with all BHN teams to connect individuals and families to Peer & Family Support and Wellness Hub services.
- Supervises and mentors Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialists (CIPSS).
- Provides individual and group support, maintains a caseload, and co-facilitates:
- Client Advisory Committee
- Step-Down group
- Alumni groups
- Oversees daily operations of the Wellness Hub, including scheduling, safety, programming, and group delivery.
- Supports health, wellness, recovery, creative expression, social connection, and engagement in psychosocial/skill-building groups.
- Collaborates with clinical staff and peer staff (those with lived experience).
- Contributes to ongoing program development.
Salary:
- $18–$24 per hour, depending on experience and education.

Qualifications
- MHRT/C certification required.
- CIPSS certification or Peer Recovery Coach credential (can be obtained within 6–12 months of hire).
- Preferred: Experience working with adults with co-occurring disorders, addiction, severe mental illness, and psychosis.
- Shall have at least two (2) years of relevant experience working with adults, specifically in a Behavioral Health Home Care Coordination or ACT (case management/clinical case management) capacity.
- Experience facilitating groups and providing supervision.
- Knowledge of local community resources.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer skills.
