General Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and delivery of program services to ensure they meet client needs and contractual obligations.
- Develop and maintain program policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Monitor program metrics and outcomes, and prepare regular reports for leadership and funders.
- Develop and implement strategies to recruit a diverse pool of volunteers.
- Conduct outreach through community events, social media and partnerships.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff, interns, and volunteers.
- Design and deliver new volunteer pre-service training and monthly in-service training to prepare volunteers for their roles.
- Provide ongoing coaching, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Address volunteer and client concerns and resolve service delivery issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all client interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and funding requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in client records and data systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, service providers, and stakeholders.
- Represent the program at community meetings, coalitions, and events.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support agency-wide initiatives.
- Assist in developing and monitoring program budgets.
- Identify opportunities for funding, partnerships, and resource development.
- Plan and implement volunteer appreciation events and recognition initiatives.
- Actively support and hold each supervised employee responsible for achieving their professional growth and development goals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
- Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social science, social work, psychology, gerontology, business administration, or related field is preferred.
- Two years of experience working with older adults and volunteers; one year of program management preferred.
- Ability to relate well to older adults, respecting their privacy, dignity, and self-determination.
- Ability to engage effectively with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, family systems, and socioeconomic contexts, using a strengths-based and culturally responsive approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Teams).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Passage of complete background clearance and any other required testing.
- Support for the Codes of Ethics of Catholic Charities USA, NASW, and APA.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of liability insurance.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
