General Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the implementation and delivery of program services to ensure they meet client needs and contractual obligations.
  2. Develop and maintain program policies, procedures, and workflows.
  3. Monitor program metrics and outcomes, and prepare regular reports for leadership and funders.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to recruit a diverse pool of volunteers.
  5. Conduct outreach through community events, social media and partnerships.
  6. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff, interns, and volunteers.
  7. Design and deliver new volunteer pre-service training and monthly in-service training to prepare volunteers for their roles.
  8. Provide ongoing coaching, support, and professional development opportunities.
  9. Address volunteer and client concerns and resolve service delivery issues in a timely manner.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all client interactions.
  11. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and funding requirements.
  12. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in client records and data systems.
  13. Build and maintain relationships with community partners, service providers, and stakeholders.
  14. Represent the program at community meetings, coalitions, and events.
  15. Collaborate with internal departments to support agency-wide initiatives.
  16. Assist in developing and monitoring program budgets.
  17. Identify opportunities for funding, partnerships, and resource development.
  18. Plan and implement volunteer appreciation events and recognition initiatives.
  19. Actively support and hold each supervised employee responsible for achieving their professional growth and development goals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
  20. Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.

Requirements

  1.  Bachelor’s degree in social science, social work, psychology, gerontology, business administration, or related field is preferred.
  2. Two years of experience working with older adults and volunteers; one year of program management preferred.
  3. Ability to relate well to older adults, respecting their privacy, dignity, and self-determination. 
  4. Ability to engage effectively with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, family systems, and socioeconomic contexts, using a strengths-based and culturally responsive approach.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Teams).
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Passage of complete background clearance and any other required testing.
  8. Support for the Codes of Ethics of Catholic Charities USA, NASW, and APA.
  9. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of liability insurance.
  10. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Salary : $55,457
