Program Statement: Matt Talbot for Men and Matt Talbot for Women are gender specific residential substance use disorder treatment programs for adults who are struggling with addiction and may also have a co-occurring mental health condition.
Responsibilities:
- Linkage to sober housing
- Linkage to community mental health and addiction providers for continuity care
- Linkage to resources to support movement toward independent functioning (i.e. benefits)
- Accompanying individuals to a variety of appointments in the community as needed (i.e. court dates, medical appointments)
Requirements:
- Combination of education and experience normally represented by a Bachelor's Degree and one to two years related professional experience.
- Must have competent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be well organized, detail oriented and have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work with diverse client population, community organizations as well as staff at all levels.
- Must be able to form good working and therapeutic relationships.
- Final applicant is required to be fingerprinted to complete background check
