What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Supervisor position at Catholic Charities Community Services?
Summary: Assist the Program Director in overseeing, coordinating, implementing, and supervising comprehensive services to children, youth, and families at the Highbridge Gardens Cornerstone Community Center as specified in DYCD contractual provisions on the weekend.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist in the weekend supervision of activities at the Highbridge Cornerstone Program.
- Responsible for opening and closing the Center on weekends.
- Collaborate with youth workers in monitoring and developing program activities.
- Ensure the overall security of all program participants on-site.
- Overall responsibility for the successful program implementation and outcome attainment on the weekend
- Help to provide administrative/logistical support to service integration staff.
- Assist with supervision of all activities that occur at the Highbridge Cornerstone Center site.
- Co-facilitate all orientations conducted at the Center.
- Keep the program director informed of all developments.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position. Work hours are as follows: 6 pm-1 I pm Fridays, 3 pm -11 pm Saturdays and Sundays
Qualifications:
Education and/or experience required:
- High School diploma, minimal; working towards a college degree; preferred
- At least 3 years of working with youth and youth group facilitation
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
Skills, Licenses, and/or competencies required:
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
