What You’ll Do
-Design and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction rooted in inquiry and critical thinking
-Foster a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, discussion, and active participation
-Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and improve student outcomes
-Use a variety of assessment methods to support and measure student growth
-Integrate technology to enhance learning experiences
-Support students both in and out of the classroom through availability and mentorship
-Contribute to the broader school community through involvement beyond the classroom
-Participate actively in professional development and school-wide initiatives
Who You Are
-Hold (or are eligible for) a Michigan teaching certificate in science (DX or DI preferred)
-Have a strong foundation in science content and instructional best practices
-Are organized, engaging, and relational in your approach to teaching
-Value collaboration and professional growth
-Are committed to supporting the mission and identity of Catholic Central
-Practicing Catholic preferred
