Health Teacher – Catholic Central High School – Grand Rapids, MI
Start Date: 2026–2027 School Year – Fall

What You’ll Do
-Design and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction rooted in health and wellness education
-Foster a classroom culture that promotes respect, self-awareness, and health decision-making
-Teach topics related to physical, mental, emotional, and social wellness in age-appropriate and meaningful ways
-Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen instruction and support student success
-Use a variety of assessment methods to support and measure student growth
-Integrate technology to enhance learning experiences
-Support students both in and out of the classroom through availability and mentorship
-Contribute to the broader school community through involvement beyond the classroom
-Participate actively in professional development and school-wide initiatives
Who You Are
-Hold (or are eligible for) appropriate Michigan teaching certification in Health Education (MA, MX, MC, KH)
-Are organized, engaging, and relational in your approach to teaching
