Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Cashier/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. Applicants must be available to begin their shift at 10:00 AM. This position is for someone who is responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing orders, assisting with food preparation, and helping maintain a clean and organized restaurant. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is willing to support both the front counter and kitchen operations. Willingness to work in mornings, or evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Cashier
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Take dine-in, takeout, phone or DoorDash orders accurately.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process cash, credit card, and mobile payments.
- Answer customer questions about menu items and daily specials.
- Package food orders neatly and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front counter and dining area.
Kitchen Assistance
- Assist with basic food preparation following food safety guidelines.
- Prepare beverages, desserts, and simple menu items as assigned.
- Prepare ingredients, supplies, and packaging materials.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
- Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
