We are seeking a skilled, proactive, and collaborative Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team and help us uphold our high standards of property care and safety.
Position Summary
The Assistant Facilities Manager oversees all aspects of building maintenance, life safety systems, and grounds keeping for all CS properties. In this role, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and supervisory support to a dedicated team, including the Maintenance Technician Supervisor, Turn-Over Supervisor, Housing Inspector, and Maintenance Coordinator. You will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure our residents enjoy top-tier housing and a safe living environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant property maintenance experience, including strong proficiency in heating, electrical, plumbing, and painting; Direct Digital Control (DDC) experience preferred; experience in reasonable accommodations requests
Leadership: Several years of supervisory experience is required with property maintenance background being preferred.
Licensing & Travel: Must possess a valid Vermont driver’s license, a dependable vehicle, and a clean driving record. Ability to travel frequently between property sites is required.
Technical Skills: Good computer skills.
