Staff Development Coordinator (LPN/RN) – RN Preferred
Location: Jasper, IN
Cathedral Health Care Center is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (LPN/RN preferred, RN strongly preferred) to support clinical education, infection prevention, compliance, and quality initiatives. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong leadership skills and experience in behavioral/mental health settings.
Schedule
Full-Time | Monday–Friday
1 evening/night on-call per week
Manager weekend on-call rotation (approximately every 4th weekend)
Ideal Candidate
Experience in mental health preferred
Indiana CNA/QMA Instructor Certification preferred
Key Responsibilities
Survey preparation and regulatory readiness
Staff competency development and tracking
Infection prevention (certification provided if not already certified)
Assist Director of Nursing with assigned duties
Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
Clinical reviews and auditing processes
Medical records oversight and documentation compliance
Collaboration with nurse managers and department leadership team
Qualifications
Active LPN or RN license in the state of Indiana (RN preferred)
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing strongly preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulatory-driven environment
