**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. As a vital part of our front-of-house team, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, managing the flow of customers and providing a warm welcome to our hotel.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process, processing payments and handling any issues that may arise.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized host area, including the front counter, seating areas, and retail section.
- Utilize our POS system to process transactions, manage inventory, and track sales.
- Handle food and beverage orders, ensuring that guests receive their items promptly and to their satisfaction.
- Provide assistance with special requests and preferences, ensuring that our guests' needs are met and exceeded.
- Maintain a high level of hospitality and guest relations, ensuring that every guest leaves our hotel feeling valued and satisfied.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, such as managing reservations, handling lost and found items, and responding to guest feedback.
**Skills:**
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Experience with phone etiquette and the ability to handle phone calls efficiently.

- Experience in a food service environment, with the ability to handle orders and manage food and beverage inventory.
- Proficiency in using a POS system and managing cash and credit transactions.
- Strong hospitality skills, with the ability to provide a warm welcome to guests and ensure their stay is enjoyable and memorable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
