What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at Catfish Bend Casino?
The security officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for the customers, employees and assets by observing all activities taking place on premises, and taking appropriate action wherever and whenever necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responds to all emergencies such as fire alarms, persons in need of medical assistance or criminal activity
- Patrols casino premises observing all public areas, employee service areas and surrounding grounds for any unusual activity or adverse safety conditions
- Responds to all disturbances involving customers and/or employees, with intent of defusing the situation
- Prevents underage or restricted persons from entering casino
- Prevents unauthorized persons from entering controlled-access areas
- Documents all security related incidents with complete and accurate written reports
- Maintains knowledge of all casino regulations, policies and procedures
- Performs other security related duties as assigned by security manager
- Adheres to reporting and/or recording responsibilities relative to the Bank Secrecy Act.
