Personal Care Assistant

Duties:

- Provide personal care services to clients in their homes or assisted living facilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of clients
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for clients

Skills:

- Experience in caregiving or personal care assistant role preferred
- Knowledge of hospice care, dementia care, and resident rights is a plus
- Ability to drive and have reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or facilities
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
