JOB TITLE: Social Media Strategist – long term contract
LOCATION: NYC – hybrid (must be able to go onsite 2-3 days per week)
PAY RATE: $50- $60ph
HIRE TYPE: long-term contract
HOURS: M-F, 40 hours per week
We're hiring a Social Media Manager / Strategist to own and run our clients brand for their organic social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, and potentially YouTube. This is a more senior, autonomous role -- we're looking for a self-starter with 5ish years of experience who doesn't need close direction.
Key things we're looking for:
- Deep platform fluency and strong copywriting chops
- Proven track record growing a brand's social presence
- Strategic, someone who has run social before. Needs to think bigger picture
- Community Management strategy
- Cross-functional collaborator who can work across Brand, PMM, and Events
- AI-native -- uses AI tools throughout their workflow
- Claude
- Comfortable on camera / creating video content is a bonus
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience managing and running social media channels within the tech space, B2B preferred
- Strong social strategy brand voice ownership
- Experience across channels (TikTok, LinkedIn, IG, etc.)
- Ability to operate with minimal oversight
- Nice-to-have: B2B / tech / AI exposure
- Resumes and Portfolio’s must be available for review
