Catching Fireflies is a locally owned, fun gift gallery located delightful downtown Berkley. Our happy shop is filled with a large variety of goodies that bring big smiles. We have a welcoming atmosphere and value creating memorable customer experiences with everyone who enters our doors.

- Is available to work weekends & peak holiday times

- Has the energy to be on their feet for a full day and lift heavy boxes when needed

- Can easily multi-task, problem solve & has an eye for detail

- Has strong organizational and time management abilities

- Is proficient with POS systems and basic clerical tasks

- Likes learning about unique products, fun finds & tempting treasures

- Wants to leave work knowing they made someone's day brighter

What does your day look like...

- Follow all the opening & closing procedures

- Respond to all email communications & voicemails

- Greet, engage and connect with our guests

- Process sale transactions on our POS system & gift wrap goods

- Receive, unpack, price & creatively display products in a timely matter

- Keeping the sales floor stocked, organized, clean & looking spiffy

- Conduct hiring & training the team while providing guidance & support as needed

- Motivating and empowering team to achieve goals & complete tasks

- Preparing schedules

- Taking out the trash, breaking down boxes, chasing dust bunnies & sweeping up fairy dust
